About Proper Home
Thoughtful design for the way you actually live.
Proper Home was built on a simple belief: your home should feel like you — not like a showroom, not like a trend, and not like someone else's idea of beautiful.
Founder & Principal Designer
Erica Bertrand
Erica Bertrand founded Proper Home with a focus on helping people see what their spaces could become — and feel confident about the changes that make sense for their lives. Her approach is practical and personal: she listens first, then helps clients find a direction that fits their home, their budget, and the way they actually use their space.
Based on the Gulf Coast, Proper Home offers in-home services throughout Mobile and Baldwin Counties, Alabama, and virtual design services to clients nationwide. Whether you're refreshing a single room, preparing a home to sell, or ready for a larger transformation, Erica brings the same thoughtful attention to every project.
